It was only a matter of time before adidas figured out how to dye Boost technology without getting a cracking effect given the microscopic air bubbles that create the cushion system’s patented return of energy. Now that Boost is coming in new colors, you can expect a bevy of truly monochromatic adidas NMD releases this Fall 2016 season. The latest colorway of the adidas NMD R1, one of the hottest silhouettes on the market, gets even hotter thanks to a “Solar Red” finish. The vibrant red hue skips the coveted Primeknit construction and instead goes for a simple yet breathable bolstered mesh and neoprene on the heel. What do you think of the look? Check out more photos below and expect this pair to arrive at retailers this September. For more of the latest NMD updates, be sure to check out this weekend’s “Whiteout/Blackout” Pack featuring three new styles.

Update: The adidas NMD R1 “Solar Red” releases on September 17th, 2016.
