We are seeking an exceptional PMO/Financial Analyst to take on a multi-faceted role, dealing with internal technology managers and staff, business unit customers, and shared services. Collaborate with IT Leads to ensure that the PLC/SDLC and all project management governance processes are followed for all types of projects (Run the Bank or Change the Bank).
This includes: o Determining project PLC/SDLC requirements based on project sizing threshold o Ensuring the appropriate templates are used o All minimum deliverables are created and signed off o The necessary project and financial reviews take place throughout the life cycle. o Suggestions for improvements to processes ? Interface with Banking & Payments Portfolio Manager on project costing, budgeting, resource management and work effort tracking. Facilitate the project change management process.Assist in weekly and monthly portfolio reporting to generate status reports. Partner with Banking & Payments Portfolio Manager to manage reporting changes. Responsible for: o Content review o RAG Production o All necessary follow-ups o Timely internal reviews and production of reports. Administer PPM for project financial and time entry reporting, set-up and maintenance. o Conduct ongoing analysis to provide transparency of IT related costs o Validate monthly PPM time entry for projects owned o Collect and review work effort estimates from project team The successful candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in the financial services or investment banking industry. Requires a 4 year college degree and an interest in financial services and technology. Prior experience in project management/PMO, property management, portfolio management, business analysis, financial operations or other specialized experience in the industry a plus. Must be proficient with excel (vlookups, pivots, etc).
